I am very excited to be participating in Kat Eye Studio’s Liberate Your Art 2013 Postcard Swap! I have participated in the Swap since its inception three years ago. The Swap has increased its participant numbers each year and Kat is looking forward to doing the same this year as well. There are 232 Artists signed up already; last year 192 Artists from 12 countries participated. Artists in any medium are welcome…photography, painting, pottery, typography, jewellery, sculpture, textiles, cooking, illustration…you name it! If you can have an image of your art printed on a postcard you are in! Further details can be found on the site linked above. We have a fun Blog Hop after the swap so everyone can see the fabulous art liberated around the world. This is first year for my Blog so I am excited to finally participate in that part of the Swap. We usually do the Swap in August but this year it has been moved up to April, so don’t hesitate too long deciding to join in! In any event, this is a great way to receive Happy Mail and go to the mailbox each day finding something beautiful to make you smile. I have used Moo.com to have my postcards made; they do a fabulous job and the quality is amazing!

Yay! I’m participating in the swap again this year, too, Sheila. Last year was my first time and it was SO much fun. Nothing better than beautiful, art-filled happy mail. I even got in some bonus exchanges with a few people after the fact. This is going to be FUN!
That’s awesome Siobhan! I hope i get one of your postcards 🙂 Do you get Moo cards made or from somewhere else? That’s great that you got to swap with a few extra people, I hope now that I have a blog as well I’ll be able to stay in touch with more participants.
I’m thinking of participating, too! I’m just not sure yet whether I can decide and then get postcards printed within the time frame 😉
I still have to pick out my photos and get mine printed too but I hope to do it this weekend. I use Moo.com and love the results. I participate in Postcrossing so I use them for everything (even my mini moos that I hand out for my 100 Pets Project). I hope you do decide you can join in, it’s such a lot of fun.
I’m glad I did a Google search. I love that you are into photographing pets. I too joined Kat’s swap this year. Since I don’t do Facebook, I am missing seeing other people’s postcards arriving. So I decided to see if anyone is blogging early. Glad I came across your blog. I’ve received 4 cards so far. I’m sure the 5th on and Kat’s should be arriving soon.
