British Shorthair Kitties that is! I love these chubby faced, chipmunk cheeked, happy, smiling cats! We met at the Calgary Cat Show; iBruiser and Blue Star were happy to come out of their comfy kennels to say hello and be admired.
British Shorthair prefer not to be carried around everywhere, they prefer all four paws to be on the ground, but they do like to be where you are will gladly curl up beside you on the couch. Click over to my 100 Pets and The People They Love page to meet them both and their people, Brenda and Darrell. If you want to learn more about this breed of kitty, check out the TICA website. Trinity
I am so glad that Trinity and Trevor decided to change up their regular routine of walking at River Park Off Leash area and come to Southland Park, otherwise I never would have had the chance to meet and photograph them for my project!
I knew right away there was something special going on between the two of them. Trinity got a real bounce in her step meeting all the dogs we had with us (my four, Emma & Rudy, two of my old dog walking clients, and Ron with his Molly, Max, Hector & Sadie).

Beautiful Bella
It is with great sadness that I must report the sudden loss of a beautiful little soul from our 100 Pets and Their People community. Dulcie, the Cookie Lady of Southland Off Leash Park lost her partner, Bella, on Friday, April 12. The vet found that Bella had an abdominal tumour that was inoperable and Dulcie made the difficult decision to have her put down. This news will affect the entire Southland Off Leash community as both Bella and Dulcie are thought of so fondly and held in such high regard. Bella will be missed by us all.
“After a dog dies, her soul is released into the world around us.
Her soul is released to run in the world, run through the fields,
enjoy the earth, the wind, the rivers, the sun, the woods.
Bella, has been released.”
